Mission in Christ Resumes Worship

On June 7th, Mission in Christ began physically gathering for Mass.   Persons identified by state and federal health agencies as being at higher risk are still strongly encouraged NOT to attend at this time.  For those who are able to attend, please note the following steps that have been implemented for your safety and that of your neighbor:

Entering and leaving:

• Use hand sanitizer provided upon entering

• Fellowship is encouraged to take place only outside the building after service and following social distancing guidelines

• Staggering entering and leaving the building is encouraged to avoid unnecessary congestion in the entry way.

Worship time

• Wearing face masks is strongly encouraged for the sake of your neighbor. Masks will be available for use during the service and can be dropped off upon leaving.

• Bulletins will be provided, but no Greeters will be deployed for distributing

• There will be no sharing of the peace during Mass

• Seating will be with both chairs and pews arranged and marked to aid in appropriate social distancing

• The offering plate will not be passed, but will be positioned in the center aisle for collection as you approach for the Sacrament

• There will be no “Children’s Sermon”

Holy Communion

• Only one person or family group at a time should come forward for Communion in order to maintain the appropriate social distancing

• Use of hand sanitizer is encouraged on the way to and from Communion and is provided

• Individual wafers will be used for the host and received from the Pastor

• Wine will be provided in individual cups and will be self-served

For the duration of the virus pandemic, all services will continue to be streamed live on Facebook.

Our Missionaries

Meet the Ekka family!

Working through World Mission Prayer League (WMPL), we are blessed to support Pr. Nijhar, her husband Neeraj, and their children: Maani, Urbas, Puna and Jhumpa in their work in Ranchi, India.  You may read their most recent Prayer Letter by clicking here!

The Lord's Supper

We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion every Sunday.   All are welcome to receive the Lord’s Body and Blood who are baptized and believe that Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, is truly present in, with, and under the forms of bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation.

For the duration of the virus outbreak, distribution of the Sacrament will be by individual wafers and individual cups.

Sharing of the Peace will be done using the verbal form of exchange only: "The Lord be with you always," followed by the response, "And also with you."
